Development and experimental study of a new rotor of mixer

Rubber mixing is the first process of tire production is one of the key processes, the mechanical properties of mixing equipment directly affects the quality of the rubber, which affects the quality and service life of the tire. With the emergence of new materials and new technology, the traditional rubber mixing equipment can not only achieve the shortcomings of excessive temperature rise, low mixing efficiency, high energy consumption and so on. And the appearance of series mixer is a good solution to these problems.
On the basis of consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, the author studied the mixing mechanism of the tandem mixer and developed a new type of rotor. On this basis, the factory made a lot of research and experiment, the finished work is as follows: Based on the traditional mixer from the viscous fluid theory and viscoelastic solid theory of tandem mixing and dispersion mechanism were analyzed.
1 the main technical features of the new type rotor are introduced in detail from the following three aspects: mixing process, unique rotor configuration and excellent thermal conductivity. At the same time, the mixing mechanism of the new rotor is proposed and the mixing process of the new rotor is analyzed.
2 based on the experimental and theoretical research of the former, a new rotor with shear rotor and meshing rotor is designed.
3 the establishment of the physical model, the mathematical model of the rotor model and finite element model, using POLFIOW to model the rotor mixing process was simulated, and analyze the hybrid index, shear rate, velocity field and viscosity field model of rotor.
4 to develop a set of experimental programs, the original meshing rotor and the rotor of the new type of rubber performance comparison. In a variety of technical parameters, test the mixer, experimental results obtained were analyzed in different working conditions, the effect of two kinds of rotor for Mooney, tensile strength, wear, and to provide the basis for future experiments.
5 experimental results show that comparing the two kinds of rotor rotor experimental results show that the newly developed has been improved greatly for the Mooney, tensile strength, wear and so on, the rotor can be applied in production in the future.
