Adding skills of vulcanizing agent in open mill
1. The feeding process of vulcanizing agent shall be uniform: when adding vulcanizing agent to the open mill, it must be evenly added to the rubber mixture, not concentrated in one place; when adding, it shall be noted that the adding speed shall not be too fast, once the vulcanizing agent falls to the bottom, it is not easy to disperse to the rubber mixture, so as to affect the performance of the recycled rubber mixture.
2. When the reclaimed rubber vulcanizer is put into the open mill, if the vulcanizer falls under the roller, it must be put into the mix again.
In addition, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the reclaimed rubber mixing process, it is necessary to clean the opening mixer in time to ensure the cleanliness and prevent other impurities from mixing into the reclaimed rubber mixing quality. The best way to judge whether the vulcanizer is evenly dispersed in the recycled rubber is to observe the morphology of the vulcanizer and accelerator. The best mixing effect is obtained when the vulcanizer becomes viscous and then mixed into the recycled rubber.

Before the vulcanizing agent is put in, adjust the roll distance of the open mill, control the temperature of the reclaimed rubber mixture through the cooling water within the required range, and then put the vulcanizing agent into the mixture; after the vulcanizing agent is added into the reclaimed rubber, the roll distance of the open mill shall be adjusted to the minimum when the thin pass is completed, and the thin pass times shall be determined according to the requirements of the rubber products, generally about 3-5 times.
